The Workshop presents the results of a PRIN 2015 project funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research. Under the denominator of common methodologies and objectives, ALaM combines the research activities of three innovative landscape archaeology projects conducted by the Universities of Udine, Milan, Turin, and Venice and the Institute of Technologies Applied to Cultural Heritage (National Research Council) in the regions of Dohuk and Erbil in the Autonomous Region of Iraqi Kurdistan and in the Kut area of Central Iraq.
